Salvage Log — Day Sixteen

Operator: m0nkey.t
Status: Independent Salvager
Vessel: Reclaimer
System: Stanton
Operation: Material Recovery — A2 Hercules
Operational Report

Flight log analysis completed. Data reviewed extensively. Crew departure confirmed as voluntary evacuation. No distress protocols activated. No environmental hazards logged.

Reason for abandonment: UNSPECIFIED.

Decision made to proceed with salvage operations. Returned to Reclaimer command deck. All systems nominal. Salvage protocols initialized.

Reclaimer positioned for optimal extraction angle. Primary salvage claws deployed. Target lock established on A2 Hercules hull sections.

Salvage operation commenced.

Initial contact: hull integrity assessment normal. Material composition verified as standard Crusader manufacturing alloy. Claw pressure applied gradually per standard operating procedure.

Hull plates began separating. Structural resistance: significantly below expected parameters.

Material extraction proceeding at accelerated rate. No mechanical anomalies detected in Reclaimer systems. Target vessel hull responding to salvage protocols with unusual compliance.

Observation: Hull sections peeling away cleanly. Too cleanly. Separation patterns do not match standard stress fracture profiles. Material appears to be actively facilitating its own disassembly.

This is not normal salvage behavior.

Current status: Operation continuing under heightened observation.

Transmission archived externally. Monitoring protocols elevated.
