Salvage Log — Day One

Operator: m0nkey.t
Status: Independent Salvager
Vessel: Reclaimer
System: Pyro
Sector: Orbituary — Pyro III Orbit
Log Entry

Today marks my first operational day as an independent ship salvager.

I departed toward the Pyro system with no escort and no assigned contract. The objective was simple: locate abandoned hulls, assess risk, recover usable material, and leave without incident.

The target was identified near Orbituary, in high orbit above Pyro III.

An Aegis Vanguard Sentinel, drifting without active navigation or response. Hull integrity was compromised. Multiple breach points were visible along the dorsal plating. No power signatures were detected. No distress beacon was active.

The surrounding space was quiet.

Salvage operations were initiated using the Reclaimer. Structural dismantling proceeded as expected. The Sentinel showed signs of prior engagement, but no evidence of recent activity. All systems were cold.

The dismantling process was completed without interruption.

No hostile contacts were encountered.

No anomalies were detected.

Recovered materials were secured and transferred to cargo. Once the operation was complete, the area was cleared.

This entry concludes the first recorded salvage operation under my own designation.

End of log.
